PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a firm handle used as a lock body in common capable of being operated with one touch, also surely implementing opening/closing operation. SOLUTION: The lock body is so constituted that a base 2 is mounted to a pivot section of an opening and closing body (not shown in Fig.) and that a hook 3 is mounted to an irrotational section. A cover 1 is mounted to the base 2 through a link 7, and an arm 6 is pivoted on the upper end of the cover 1 by a cover shaft 81. The cover shaft 81 is energized toward the base by an arm spring 64 mounted to the base 2. When the lock body is opened, the cover 1 is opened outward as shown in Fig. to have also the function of the handle. When the lock body is closed, an engaging section 62 of the arm 6 is engaged with an engaging section 32 of the hook 3, and an engaging section 41 of a temporary stopping lever 4 mounted to the cover 1 is engaged with the engaging section 31 of the hook. When a key section 9 is operated by a key to lock, a sign doubling as a closing body 5 is lowered to inhibiting the upward movement of the temporary stopping lever 4. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
