PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a nanomaterial using porous alumina as a template by which a nanomaterial can be formed in a manner of being directly joined to the surface of a substrate by a wet method, and also can be formed with direct current under low voltage. SOLUTION: A substrate material is beforehand formed on a porous alumna in which a barrier layer obtained by anodization is left, so as to directly be integrated into a film shape. After the removal of the barrier layer in the case of the alumina layer in which the barrier layer is left, and after the formation of the film in the case of the alumina layer from which the barrier layer is removed, porous alumina to which the substrate material is fitted like a film, and from which the barrier layer is removed is used as a template, producing a nanomaterial on the substrate material integrally fitted to the template.
