PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body structure capable of efficiently shutting off transmission of impact from a base frame to a cabin at collision and further enhancing absorption ability of impact energy. SOLUTION: The cabin 20 is relatively movably placed on the base frame 10 and is fixed to the base frame 10 through a cabin bonding means 30 so as to separate the cabin 20 by impact at the collision. Thereby, transmission of impact of the cabin bonding means 30 from the base frame 10 to the cabin 20 is shut off at the collision and impact force applied to an occupant in the cabin is efficiently relaxed. Further, behavior of the cabin 20 in response to the form of the collision can be appropriately controlled by a cabin behavior control means 50 by detecting the collision by a collision detection means 40 and detecting the form of the collision.
