There are provided an image generation device, an image generation method, and an image generation program. The image generation device includes moving information calculation means for calculating moving information concerning moving of an imaging means arrangement object. Display means displays moving information calculated by the moving information calculation means together with an imaging means arrangement object model corresponding to the imaging means arrangement object. Accordingly, when displaying a monitoring object such as a vicinity of a vehicle, a shop, or a house or an entire city as an image viewed from an arbitrary virtual viewpoint in the 3D space, it is possible to display the monitoring object in such a manner that the relationship between the vehicle or the like and the image of the monitoring object can be understood intuitionally.
