And the modular tubular member (10) is characterized in that each of the mating surfaces (18) of the segments (13, 14) intersects at least two offset planes (alpha, beta) perpendicular to the longitudinal axis ("y") of the tubular member (10), so that the mating surfaces cooperate to define at least one predetermined angular connecting position of the two segments (13, 14), and substantially prevent rotation of the segments when joined, so that the projections (17) are actually aligned in use.</p> |
