<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbon monoxide selective oxidation reactor adapted so that the entire catalyst layer may be effectively utilized. <P>SOLUTION: A catalyst layer 3 is stowed into the reaction container 2 of the carbon monoxide selective oxidation reactor 1. Further, a feed pipe 4 is inserted into the inside of the shift catalyst layer 3 from the side of the upper end of the container 2.
