<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which hardly causes image deterioration in a line image with a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus having an environment detector 601 detecting humidity near a photoreceptor drum 3 so as to correct exposure according to the humidity detected by the detector 601, laser power in an optical device unit 11 is decided without considering the result of detection by the detector 601 in the case of adjusting developing bias, and the laser power in the unit 11 is corrected so that it may be smaller as the humidity detected by the detector 601 gets higher in the case of performing image forming processing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
