HYDRAULIC OIL COMPOSITION FOR SHOCK ABSORBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic oil composition for shock absorbers exhibiting a reduced frictional force by finding a combination of additives synergistically exhibiting friction-reducing effects. SOLUTION: The hydraulic oil composition for shock absorbers comprises a lubricating base oil and, incorporated therewith, (A) a basic compound bearing an 8-30C alkyl or alkenyl group and a basic polar group and (B) a nitrogen-containing carboxylic acid bearing an 8-30C alkyl or alkenyl group each in an amount of 0.01-5.0 mass% based on the whole composition.
