PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building-construction technique using aluminum capable of utilizing the excellent characteristics of aluminum such as a strength, recycling properties or the like. SOLUTION: In prestressed aluminum structure members 10 and 20 as structure members constituting a building, the structure members 10 and 20 have unit structure members 1 made of aluminum, to which hole sections 1a for inserting PC steel materials 2 introducing a prestress are formed. In the structure members 10 and 20, the prestress is introduced in the axial direction of the hole sections 1a by inserting the PC steel materials 2 into the hole sections 1a and tensing the PC steel materials 2.
