PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of and a method for jointing different metal panels while maintaining well the environment and quality of work operation. SOLUTION: The joint structure comprises jointing different metal panels 1 and 2 including an adhesive 3 in a joint part 4. A housing space 10 for housing the adhesive 3 running out of the joint part 4 at jointing is formed on at least the partial peripheral edge of the joint part 4. A sealing agent 5 is applied so as to cover the surface of the adhesive 3A run into the housing space 10 and to straddle both surfaces of different metal panels 1 and 2 forming the space 10.
