PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To feed a recording sheet from one roll and simultaneously perform replacement of the other roll in a narrow working space, in an image forming apparatus using a plurality of rolls. SOLUTION: A roll housing cassette 31R which houses a roll 311R, and a roll housing cassette 31L which houses a roll 311L are separately provided. In addition, a spacial region in which the roll housing cassette 31R moves is prevented from being superposed with a common conveying passage 34, and also, a spacial region in which the roll housing cassette 31 moves is prevented from being superposed with the common conveying passage 34.
