PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label printer which can align a previously printed section and a printing item without actually printing and issuing even when a previously printed label is used. SOLUTION: In this label printer, printing paper image data is controlled in relation with printing formats of previously printed format files. Then, printing item image data based on the printing format and the printing paper image data related with the printing format are displayed while being superposed through a liquid crystal displaying section. Thus, even when a previously printed label is used, whether the set printing format is suitable for the label or not can easily be checked on a screen without performing a label printing.
