PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cap for a puncture instrument allowing a user of the puncture instrument to safely and easily remove a used lancet from a body and dispose of it, and allowing a treatment contractor or the like to safely handle the disposed lancet. SOLUTION: This cap 1 for the puncture instrument is provided with a pushing member 2, and the pushing member 2 and the lancet 6 are engaged with each other by pushing the member 2 to fix the cap 1 for the puncture instrument to the lancet 6 easily. Even if the used lancet fixed to the cap 1 for the puncture instrument is disposed of, the needle of the lancet 6 is covered with the cap 1 for the puncture instrument to allow the safe handling of the used lancet.
