<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting device for detachably fixing a cylindrical hub, particularly, a centrifugal machine rotor, to a cylindrical shaft at a specified position. <P>SOLUTION: This cylindrical hub comprises spirally wound two first and second mounting elements 2 and 4. The coil of the first mounting element comprises a wedge type first conical surface 3 on one side in the spiral direction in the crosssection passing a plane including a spiral vertical axis. The coil of the second mounting element comprises a second conical surface 5 supplementary to the first conical surface on the other side in the spiral direction in the cross section. The second conical surface 5 is disposed oppositely to the first conical surface 3 of the first mounting element 2. The first and second mounting elements 2 and 4 are compressed to press one of them onto the other in the first and second conical surfaces 3 and 5. The first and second mounting elements 2 and 4 are extended and retracted in the radial inside and outside directions to clamp the hub to the shaft at the specified position by a frictional force. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
