<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accumulator fuel injection device in which the deterioratin of engine fuel conditions and deteriaoratin of a combustion noise level can be prevented by positively dropping the fuel pressure in a common rail notwithstanding eliminating the need for a pressure reducing valve and a pressure reducing valve driving circuit, the common rail pressure can be controlled with higher precision notwithstanding eliminating the need for the pressure reducing valve and the pressure reducing valve driving circuit, and a driver can be prevented from feeling intended acceleration by consuming only an increment of the engine output shaft torque, causing the injection of fuel by extra injection quantity. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel is injected into a combustion chamber of each cylinder in the engine by the increment of the fuel quantity more than the requested injection quantity so that the fuel pressure in the common rail is positively dropped. Since the released quantity of high pressure fuel per unit time is more than that in a pressure reducing control method only by a dynamic leak quantity in the pressure reducing control method, the control responsibility and following-up of the common rail pressure for the target fuel pressure are more improved than that in the pressure reducing method by the dynamic leak quantity only, providing that it is judged in a range of a gear position of a transmission and the extra injection quantity whether the engine torque-balance control is conducted or not by racing the increment of the engine output shaft torque to increase by the injection increment more than the requested injection quantity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
