<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce various costs by miniaturizing a waste water treatment facility for BOD reduction treatment and phosphorus removing treatment of industrial waste water. <P>SOLUTION: In the filtering apparatus, a cylindrical rotary cage 10 with an outer periphery formed with a water-permeable filter 11 is rotated by dropping waste water 2 on an upper part thereof. A water-receiving plate 12 of waterwheel vanes and a shell containing chamber 13 containing shells (oyster shells) 14 are formed in the cage 10, suspended matter 3 in the waste water filtered by the filter 11 is scraped by blades 40 during rotation of the cage 10, waste water 2 supplied to the filter 11 is made to flow into the chamber 13 via the filter 11 to remove phosphorus, and then the purified water flows through the filter 11 again and is discharged from the cage 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
