<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system which is equipped with a catalyst combustor of which catalyst combustion reaction rate (purification rate) against a noxious material in the exhausted fuel is high and of which pressure loss is small when the exhausted fuel and air for a catalytic combustion pass through the fuel cell system which includes the fuel cell and the catalyst combustor which purifies the fuel exhausted from the fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: The catalyst combustor comprises a combustion chamber in which baffle plates made of a base material with the catalyst are installed in several places, and combustion purification is carried out by introducing the exhausted fuel into the combustion chamber together with air. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
