<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image forming apparatus capable of effectively preventing the occurrence of a charge-up phenomenon. <P>SOLUTION: A control part 50 decides whether or not relative humidity detected by a humidity sensor 52 and the image occupancy ratio of a toner image developed by a developing device 22 to recording paper meet a toner replenishing amount increasing condition (condition that the charge-up phenomenon occurs) for increasing toner replenishing amount, and controls a toner replenishing part 48 to replenish the developing device 22 with the derived replenishing amount of toner by deriving the toner replenishing amount so that it may be larger as the image occupancy ratio becomes higher in the case of deciding that they do not meet the toner replenishing amount increasing condition, and deriving the toner replenishing amount so that it may be larger than that in the case of deciding that they do not meet the toner replenishing amount increasing condition in the case of deciding that they meet the toner replenishing amount increasing condition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
