PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device which displays the background of the sky of a bird's-eye map in matching with the circumferential situation. SOLUTION: The navigation device 44 displays the bird's-eye image on a display 2 and displays the background of the sky in the upper area of the bird's-eye map. A traffic information receiver 10 acquires weather information. The navigation device 33 displays the background of the sky in sky-blue, when the acquired weather information indicates fine weather and in gray, when rainy weather or cloudy weather.
