PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission system not requiring a dedicated transmission mechanism on an output side of a power source. SOLUTION: The power transmission system has an input member 6 and an output member 2 for transmitting power and an oil pump 7 to be driven by the power transmitted between the input member 6 and the output member 2 to discharge oil with relative rotation of a first rotary member 8 and a second rotary member 9. In this power transmission system, the input member 6 and a first rotary member 8 are connected to each other freely to transmit power, and the output member 2 and a second rotary member 9 are connected to each other freely to transmit power. This power transmission system is provided with a transmitting member for connecting the first rotary member 8 to the second rotary member 9 freely to transmit power and a control valve 27 for controlling power transmitting condition between the first rotary member 8 and the second rotary member 9 by controlling oil discharging condition of the oil pump 7.
