PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of making weight balance in a circumferential direction of a tire uniform when reduction of cavity resonance sound is realized using a ring-like object of which a cross section is varied corresponding to a position in the circumferential direction of the tire. SOLUTION: In the pneumatic tire, the ring-like object 5 of which the cross section is varied in response to the position in the circumferential direction of the tire is attached onto an inner surface of a tread part. The ring-like object 5 is constituted by partially compression-machining a porous material 6 having density of 5-70 kg/m3and a uniform cross section shape along the circumferential direction of the tire.
