A substrate has a first coating of at least one hydrophilic layer based on a derivative of at least partially oxidized silicon covered by a second photocatalytic coating of titanium oxide at least partially crystallized with a discontinuous/permeable structure. The optionally transparent substrate may be glass- or polymer-based or a ceramic or vitroceramic substrate or a building material, such as a facade coating, flagstones or pavings made from concrete, construction concrete, tiles, cement materials, terracotta, slate, stone, metal surfaces or glassy fibrous substrates, such as mineral insulation wool or glass reinforcement threads. |
