PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new optically active bisoxazoline compound. SOLUTION: The invention relates to the optically active bisoxazoline compound expressed by general formula (1). In the formula R<SP>1</SP>, R<SP>2</SP>and R<SP>3</SP>are each independently H, a halogen atom, an alkyl, a cycloalkyl, an aryl, an arylalkyl, an alkoxy, an aryloxy, an alkenyl or an arylalkyloxy, each R<SP>1</SP>, R<SP>2</SP>and R<SP>3</SP>is the same or different and optionally form a ring by coupling. X is OR<SP>4</SP>or NR<SP>5</SP>R<SP>6</SP>. R<SP>4</SP>is H, an alkyl, an alkenyl, an aryl or an arylalkyl, R<SP>5</SP>and R<SP>6</SP>are each independently H, an alkyl, an alkenyl, an aryl or an arylalkyl.
