PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin glass tube sealing device for sealing a long thin glass tube without damaging it. SOLUTION: A thin glass tube holding part 5 holding two pieces of thin glass tubes 52, 52 in a diameter direction are disposed in equally divided arrangement on a turn table 2 and a variety of processing sections are disposed in equally divided arrangement along with an outer circumference direction of the turn table 2. Tow pair of burners 20a, 20b and two pair of provisionally sealing jigs 21a, 21b are disposed in radiation directions at a provisionally sealing part G and they are movable toward the diameter directions synchronizing with one another. Two pieces of tubes 52 and glass beads 58 of the electrode mount 54 are simultaneously heated by the burners 20a, 20b and simultaneously provisionally sealed by the jigs 21a, 21b in provisional sealing.
