PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric stapler providing a stable closing capability since a stable stapling is possible, the structure is simplified, and a deformation prevention member is mounted onto a storage frame part. SOLUTION: Since the frame part presses the needle by its own weight and penetrates and binds the bundle of the documents in the electric stapler, an arm part depresses the needle stored in the storage frame part by the vertical movement of the storage frame part and the arm part with pivoted parts as the fulcrum. The storage frame part depresses the bundle of the documents as the support of the pivot part, and penetrates and binds the needle. An elastic body is mounted to the lower part of the storage frame part so as to return the storage frame part and the arm part to the original position for binding the bundle of the documents, and the deformation prevention member is fittingly fixed to the tip end of the storage frame part so that the storage frame part is not deformed owing to frequency of usage.
