PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combine harvester capable of efficiently performing the subsequent treatment such as incineration of unnecessary materials containing waste straw discharged from the machine body. SOLUTION: The combine harvester is provided with a reaping part to reap culms, a threshing part to thresh the culm reaped by the reaping part, a shaking sorter to shake and sort the threshed product containing grains threshed by the threshing part, and an unnecessary material storing part to store the unnecessary material containing waste culm transferred from the threshing part and the unnecessary material containing the waste straw transferred from the shaking sorter and discharging the stored unnecessary material from the machine body. The combine harvester has a travel distance-based discharging mode to discharge the unnecessary material stored in the unnecessary material storing part after the traveling of the harvester over a preset travel distance.
