In a captured image outputting system, a display 54 generates a settings image from a unit 90, visually representing information, such as a barcode showing a MAC address, enabling communication between an image capturing device (18, Figure 1) and the display (12, Figure 1). An image of the displayed or projected settings information is captured as an object, and wireless communication is established between the capturing device and the display receiver based on the information, which may be the inherent address of the receiving, display device. Where the settings image is a character string, character recognition may be used. Thus, the transmitting imaging camera device may send image data to the display without having display specific information input manually: destination setting information is picked up and automatically recognised by the camera itself. Also disclosed are further methods relating to image communication, for example based on capacity, or providing simultaneous communication. |
