A liquid supply system comprising a liquid reservoir (1) and a liquid container (4) for supplying liquid to the reservoir (1). Connection means (7) connects the reservoir to a position within the container that is immersed in the contained liquid. Means (14) for alternately pressurising and depressurising the reservoir are provided. The arrangement is such that when the reservoir (1) is pressurised gas is forced into the container (4) through the connection means (7) and accumulates above the liquid in the container (4). When the reservoir (1) is depressurised accumulated gas in the container (4) forces liquid through the connection means (7) to the reservoir (1). The means (14) for alternately pressurising and depressuring the reservoir (1) is controlled by controller (141). |
