<p>The method involves activating a DC-DC converter (18), carrying out a slave-function, by a DC-DC converter (12) carrying out a master-function, when a load current (I) increases. The error currents of other already activated DC-DC converters (12, 14, 16) are reduced to respective error current limit values when the converter (18) is activated. The limit values exist within an efficiency characteristic curve. The converter (12) is operated as a voltage source and the converters (14, 16, 18) are operated as a current source. An independent claim is also included for a device for regulating the operation of parallel DC-DC converters.</p> |
