The cleaning device has a cylinder (1), carrying a flexible high pressure form or rubbercloth; or alternatively a pressure supply cylinder with a profile surface. The brush roll (3) has a brush fitting (13) containing bristles (14) fixed to the roll core (12). Each individual bristle is split into several bristle tips at its free end. The roll can rotate in either direction.
