The connector unit has a sleeve (5) comprising an end with a set of locking slats (2) disposed around a hollow cylindrical body (1) and separated by slots (4). Gaps between the slats are occupied by protrusions (3) integrated with the body. Each protrusion has a thickness equal to or greater than thickness of the slats. Each protrusion has a width higher than width of adjacent slats.
