The aim is to provide an improved power transmission device being more easy to assembly. A power transmission device, in particular for a vehicle, preferably a motorcycle, including a drive shaft (31) journaled by a drive side transmission case (22) with one end of the drive shaft (31) extending beyond the drive side transmission case (22), a drive wheel (35) mounted onto the one end of the drive shaft (31), a driven side transmission case mounted (23) onto the drive side transmission case (22), wherein a regulating member (54) is positioned to approach an outside surface of the drive wheel (35) from a location outward of the one end (34) in an axial direction of the drive shaft (31) to be mounted onto the driven side transmission case (23), wherein the regulating member (54) regulates an axial movement of the drive wheel (35) relative to the driven side transmission case (23). |
