The invention relates to an attachment bracket 1 for fastening an item 2 to a shoe that is provided with a shoestring 12, the attachment bracket 1 comprising a bottom part (4 Fig. 3) which can be fitted on top of the set of shoestrings, and a space (6) for receiving the item 2. The attachment bracket 1 comprises a first mounting bracket 7 and a second mounting bracket 8 that is spaced from the first mounting bracket 7, and the mounting brackets 7,8 can be pushed under the shoestring from opposite directions. In addition, the part of the attachment bracket 1 between the first mounting bracket 7 and the second mounting bracket 8 is flexible.
