A super hard wristwatch case where cracks and chips caused by attaching and detaching spring rods for installing a wristwatch band are prevented from being produced in leg portions of a case body. This is achieved by a simple modification to the structure of the case. The super hard wristwatch case has a shock-resistant metallic back cover (2), which has on its face left/right pairs of projection portions (20a, 20b, 21a, 21b) having fixing holes (22a, 22b, 23a, 23b) for spring rods (3), opened near the tips of the projection portions. The projection portions (20a, 20b, 21a, 21b) are on the face opposite a case body (1) so as to correspond to inner wall faces of leg portions (11a, 11b, 12a, 12b) of the case body (1). Each of the projection portions (20a, 20b, 21a, 21b) of the back cover (2) is fitted and fixed in the inner wall face of each of the leg portions (11a, 11b, 12a, 12b). The spring rods (3) are bridged and engaged between the projection portions (20a, 20b, 21a, 21b).
