Producing a vehicle inner covering part comprises: (i) providing a two-dimensional metal structure which is transversely fluid-permeable; (ii) connecting the metal structure with a barrier layer; and (iii) connecting the metal structure with a further layer. The barrier layer limits a penetration of the further layer through the metal structure.
