FIELD: transport engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices designed for revealing changes of vehicle speed. Proposed device includes acceleration pickup and brake light electric circuit switch acted upon by acceleration pickup. Acceleration pickup contains housing, ball and pendulum with weight on axle movable in longitudinal plane. Rectangular section shackle made in form of arc of circumference coinciding with trajectory of pendulum swinging is secured on housing. Ball is provided with yoke with rectangular shape hole and is installed for movement along shackle. Brake light switch has piezoelectric element secured in lower part of pendulum, being in contact with ball constantly. At no or insignificant deceleration of vehicle, pressure of ball onto piezoelectric element is low. In case of higher deceleration, pressure of ball onto piezoelectric element rises, thus producing current and energizing brake light lamps. ^ EFFECT: simplified design, increased service life, provision of definite and stable output characteristics. ^ 2 cl, 2 dwg |
