FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. ^ SUBSTANCE: ring groove is made on inner side surface of cylinder whose upper border is lower than lower plane of lower piston ring piston in BDC, and lower border of groove is higher than lower edge of piston when piston is in TDC. Grooves of all cylinders of engine are interconnected to form space in cylinder block with outlet to crankcase gases suction line. ^ EFFECT: increased service life of engine, reduced specific consumption of oil, toxicity of exhaust gases and degree of contamination of ambient atmosphere. ^ 1 dwg |
