FIELD: microwave engineering; waveband band-elimination filters. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed waveguide band-elimination filter designed for attenuating definite spectral component in microwave rectangular-waveguide plumbings has case made in the form of rectangular waveguide section and dielectric resonator in the form of straight circular cylinder disposed inside case close to one of its narrow walls so that its butt-end surfaces are parallel to this wall. Dielectric resonator is coaxially mounted on end of dielectric rod passed through respective hole in mentioned wall of case and joined at its other end with butt-end of adjustment bushing disposed inside clamping assembly which is joined with same wall on external side of case. Clamping assembly is designed so that in released state it provides for longitudinal displacement of adjustment bushing within this clamping assembly and in clamped state, locking of adjustment bushing in clamping assembly on section in opposite end of dielectric rod. Thickness of mentioned wall of case section wherein clamping assembly is joined thereto, length of clamping assembly on section between point where it is joined to case wall and point where adjustment bushing is locked therein, length of adjustment bushing on section between point where dielectric rod is joined thereto and point where mentioned bushing is locked in clamping assembly, length of dielectric rod, and coefficients of linear expansion of materials used for case, clamping assembly, adjustment bushing, and dielectric rod are interrelated by relevant equations given in description of invention. ^ EFFECT: provision for correcting geometry of components changed due to their temperature expansion to stabilize resonant frequency of filter. ^ 2 cl, 2 dwg |
