FIELD: mineral recovery from sea bed, particularly underwater well drilling equipment. ^ SUBSTANCE: drilling rig has support vessel filled with water, pump with electric drive installed on the vessel, water level sensor used to determine water level in the vessel, drill rod with drilling bit, hydraulic cylinders for supply mechanism, hydraulic drive for rotation unit, drill rod rotation control distributor, drill rod feeding control distributor, drill rod feeding control throttle, drill rod rotation control throttle and control system to exercise control over working operations. The drilling rig is provided with check, reducing and selector valve. The vessel is composed of two cavities. One cavity is filled with water and air, another one is filled with air. Air spaces of both cavities are communicated through check valve and through serially connected selective and reducing valves. ^ EFFECT: extended capabilities of the rig, provision of operational independence and increased depth available for rig operation. ^ 1 dwg |
