Production of compacted products from fine material, e.g. for making panels, using lignocellulosic shavings or fibres with specific particle size

The fine material contains more than 40 wt.% particles with a size less than 0.25 mm and comprises shavings and/or fibres of lignocellulosic material from wood and/or straw-forming plants. The material is compacted at high temperature and pressure for at least two minutes. The material has a low moisture content and no adhesive substances are added.
