FIELD: transport engineering; automobile windshield wipers. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed windshield wiper blade has one holder 12, rubber band 14 connector 16 for fastening on windshield wiper arm 18. Holder 12 is essentially elongated flat strip on which rubber band 14 and connector 16 are secured. According to invention, flat strip is made with cross profile meeting the following condition: (FwfxL2/48xExIzz)<0.009 where Fwf is pressure force acting onto blade or designed pressure force; L is length of blade; E is modulus of elasticity of flat strip material; Izz is moment of inertia of cross profile relative to axis to axis z (which is orthogonal to axis s related to longitudinal extent of flat strip and is orthogonal to axis y).
