The unit has a base part (10) anchoring bone, and a slug (11) that is articulated on the base part. A cavity (18) delimits an articulation surface corresponding to a hemispherical side of a distal part (23) which is arranged on the slug. A washer (12) is made from a compressible material and is placed between a distal side (25) and a support wall (17) at the level of the cavity. An independent claim is also included for a process for fabricating an anchoring unit.
