The method involves determining a probability (m 3j) that a user (501) to be identified presents a given attribute (j) as a combination of non-correlated and correlated probability values (m 1j, m 2j). The non correlated value takes into account probabilities related to sites of interest and the correlated value takes into account average data (g j) of a profile relative to users forming reference internet user population (400). An independent claim is also included for a system to determine a behavioral profile of a user to be identified of a communication network.
