The valve has a case (10) with inlet openings (14, 15) for hot water and cold water, respectively, and an outlet opening (11). A control rod (27) is screwed in the case. A thermocouple (22) is associated to a piston (20) mounted slidingly in a bore of the case by covering partially one of the inlet openings. The thermocouple is supported on the rod and connected to the rod directly or indirectly using a tension spring (25).
