IP PHONE SYSTEM, INFORMATION PROCESSING TERMINAL DEVICE, AND IP PHONE CONNECTION METHOD USED FOR THEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IP phone system wherein an IP phone can easily be connected to a master unit so as to be able to utilize a function effective as the IP phone. SOLUTION: An IP master unit / private branch exchange 1 and a personal computer 2 are connected to a LAN 100 via LAN interface sections 14, 25, and a serial bus interface section 24 of the personal computer 2 is connected to a serial bus 101 to which the IP phone is connected. A server 12 of the IP master unit / private branch exchange 1 uses a DHCP server function to automatically set an IP address of the IP phone and a call control section 11 controls an incoming call to / outgoing call from the IP phone. A protocol conversion section 212 of the personal computer 2 converts the protocol of the LAN 100 to be connected to the IP master unit / private branch exchange 1 and the protocol of the serial bus 101 for connection of the personal computer 2 to the IP phone.
