PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor and an image processing method which extend application fields of a video window system and has better operability by recording a video signal in a temporary memory by a plurality of screens and operating the contents of the memory as specified. SOLUTION: A moving image is inputted by an input means 1 and stored in a storage means 3, and the stored moving image is displayed in a 1st display window on a display means 2; and a still image is displayed in a 2nd display window on the display means 2, and the moving image displayed in the 1st window is copied to the 2nd display window by an image composing means.
