PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallic tone molded sheet with a metallic tone hairline design which has both adhesiveness of a metal thin film layer and moldability, satisfies a reduction of lots and costs, and is suitable for a building material use with a design of calm feeling. SOLUTION: The metallic tone molded sheet 10 is prepared by transferring (B) the metal thin film layer on a transparent thermoplastic resin sheet 4 through an adhesive layer 3 of a crosslinking curable resin, (A) from a transfer sheet S having a transfer layer in which the metal thin film layer 2 is the outermost surface on a hairline-like uneven releasing face of a releasing substrate 1, (C) providing a thin protective layer 5 comprising a protective sheet layer 5B with a thermoplastic resin sheet 5Bb or a crosslinking curable resin layer 5A through an adhesive resin layer 5Ba on the face of the metal thin film layer after transfer. When a light diffusing agent and a coloring agent are incorporated into the adhesive layer, the design of calm feeling can be obtained. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
