PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recessed part repairing tool in which a recess of a large area formed in a sheet metal can be repaired, no special tool is required, the pulling workability is excellent, and the peeling operation is also easy. SOLUTION: In the recessed part repairing tool 1, a plurality of ring-shaped members 4 are arrayed in a direction-arranged manner along the longitudinal direction of a base plate 2 on an upper side of the base plate 2 formed of a metal sheet which is embedded in a hot-melt adhesive 3 with flexibility in the longitudinal direction. By using this recessed part repairing tool 1 for the sheet metal, the sheet metal surface or the hot-melt adhesive 3 is preheated, the hot-melt adhesive 3 of the recessed part repairing tool 1 for the sheet metal is pressed against a recessed part in the sheet metal surface, and the ring-shaped members 4 are pulled to straighten the recess of the sheet metal.
