PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid discharge apparatus for stably performing quantitative discharge. SOLUTION: The liquid discharge apparatus 1 is to be connected to a liquid supply pump through a liquid tube and to discharge a liquid from a nozzle 4 while moving in a horizontal direction, and includes pump mechanisms 11 and 12 for filling the liquid supplied from the liquid supply pump through the liquid tube in a liquid chamber 11b and discharging the liquid filled in the liquid chamber 11b from the nozzle by pushing out accompanied with a movement, and liquid shut-off mechanisms 32 and 35 formed of a valve in the middle of a liquid flow path 22 connecting the liquid chamber 11b and a liquid supply port 2 to which the liquid tube is connected.
