PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air massage apparatus capable of massaging the whole body in a wave-like manner and obtaining a massage effect by twisting the body right and left. SOLUTION: This air massage apparatus is provided with a plurality of air bags B1-B16 arranged along the longitudinal direction of a mat body; a compressor 40 for supplying air; an air distributing device for communicating the compressor 40 with the plurality of air bags B1-B16 to charge air and switching the communication; and a control circuit 50 for controlling the air distributing device to sequentially charge the plurality of air bags B1-B16 with air. A pair of air bags B17, B18 are provided arranged in a direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the mat body. The plurality of air bags B1-B16 are sequentially inflated and deflated along the longitudinal direction of the mat, and the charging time of the adjacent air bags is partially overlapped.
